Senior Project Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an innovative Senior Project Manager who will play a pivotal role in overseeing and driving the success of contaminated site remediation projects including physical, biological and chemical remediation. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including mentorship, technical oversight, and strategic collaboration with project stakeholders.

[Responsibilities]
1. Project Leadership and Management:
• Lead and manage contaminated site remediation projects from inception to completion and provide mentorship and project direction to junior and intermediate staff within the Operations Business Unit and review and provide feedback on project correspondence.

2. Project Execution:
• Ensure successful execution of project scope, goals, work plans, schedules, and budgets. And oversee project technical deliverables and reports.
• Supervise project cost control and prepare project financial reports to the corporate executives.

3. Technical Expertise and Quality Assurance:
• Demonstrate expertise in technical report writing and enforce TRIUM’s stringent Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) management practices as outlined in the Professional Practice Management Plan (PPMP) for all data, reporting, and file management components.

4. Project Stakeholder Engagement:
• Maintain ongoing communication with project stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies, identify and develop new opportunities with both existing and prospective clients. And lead presentations on technical services provided and address client concerns and inquiries.

5. Team Supervision and Performance Management:
• Supervise field team and other project management staff to ensure project continuity, quality, and adherence to health and safety standards, conduct ongoing performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members and initiate performance management processes when necessary.

6. Process Improvement and Resource Considerations:
• Collaborate with corporate executives to identify areas for process improvement and provide feedback and recommendations related to tools, systems, and human resources.

[Qualifications]
• Bachelor’s degree specializing in Environmental Engineering or Science, Hydrogeology/Geology, Other Engineering, or a Technology Qualification appropriate to the work qualification.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in environmental site assessment and/or engineered remediation projects, however, an applicant with less years of experience but having extensive experience in the engineered remediation area (e.g. chemical oxidation, vapour extraction, bioremediation) would be considered.
• Must be willing to travel to project sites for various assignments and execution of project oversight if required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and sound business judgment skills.
