RemedX Remediation Services Inc. has been providing environmental consulting and waste management services to the upstream oil and gas industry for over 25 years. We are an Alberta based, international company that focuses on quality, teamwork and exceptional relationships with our clients and our employees.
RemedX has openings for Remediation Professionals, based in our Calgary office. We are looking for team members with strong field and technical expertise to join our remediation/ risk management team. The role(s) will immediately support the Balzac Gas Plant Remedial Program, an ongoing multi-year rem/rec project.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise the completion of remediation, reclamation and asset retirement projects
• Conduct Remedial Programs. Experience with Phase I, II and III ESA’s is an asset
• Data interpretation, analysis, prepare and compile technical reports
• Offer support for a variety of projects
Qualifications/ Experience:
• Degree or technical diploma in an environmental science or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years experience completing similar work
• Have ground disturbance experience
• Knowledge and experience with Remediation/Reclamation Guidelines
• Proficiency in computer software and industry related programs
• Solid understanding and experience in the upstream oil and gas sector
• Valid standard industry safety tickets and Class 5 driver’s license
• Membership or intent to obtain designation with a professional association is required

• Have strong problem-solving skills and be adaptable to changing conditions
• Have experience directing and coordinating heavy equipment contractors
• Be organized, a strong communicator and able to maintain strong client relationships
