RemedX Remediation Services Inc. has been providing environmental consulting and waste management services to the upstream oil and gas industry for over 25 years. We are Alberta based and our focus is to ensure that we provide quality, cost efficient service in a manner that best achieves our clients needs.
RemedX has an immediate opening for a Remediation Professional, in our Calgary office. We are looking for someone with strong field and technical expertise to join our remediation/ risk management team. The role is will immediately be based at our Balzac Remedial Program site to support that project requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise the completion of remediation, reclamation and asset retirement projects
• Assist in planning and coordination of fieldwork
• Data interpretation, analysis, prepare and compile technical reports
• Conduct Remedial Programs. Experience with Phase I, II and III ESA’s
• Offer support for a variety of projects
Qualifications/ Experience:
• Degree or technical diploma in an environmental science or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years experience completing similar work
• Have ground disturbance experience
• Knowledge and experience with Remediation/Reclamation Guidelines
• Proficiency in computer software and industry related programs
• Solid understanding and experience in the upstream oil and gas sector
• Valid standard industry safety tickets and Class 5 driver’s license
• Membership or intent to obtain designation with a professional association is required
