Position | Location: Intermediate Environmental Scientist, Real Estate & Development | St. Albert

The Opportunity
 We are looking for an Intermediate Environmental Scientist, Real Estate & Development who wants to make a difference with a company that cares about its people.

Responsibilities
 Project manage and assist projects with a focus on the Real Estate & Development sector. Projects are largely related to transactional due diligence and to support land development applications.
 Prepare technical documents (e.g., Phase I/II ESAs, groundwater monitoring, conceptual site models) for all market sectors with an emphasis on Real Estate & Development.
 Conduct intermediate technical reviews on assessment, remediation, and risk projects.
 Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical support to junior professionals.
 Prepare proposals and support responses to Requests for Proposals.
 Develop and maintain relationships with clients, regulators, suppliers, and peers.

About You and Your Qualifications
 You want a primarily office-based position but are willing to support/lead local fieldwork within the Edmonton and surrounding municipalities as required.
 You have 3 to 8 years experience in environmental consulting.
 Graduated from university with a bachelor’s degree in a science-related discipline (e.g., environmental science, chemistry, biology).
 Currently hold, eligible for, or in training for a professional designation.
 Working knowledge and good understanding of regulatory guidelines and contaminated site management frameworks.
 Experienced in managing, leading, and overseeing Phase I/II ESAs, remediation, and contaminated site management frameworks.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service.
