The Opportunity
We are looking for a Director of Geotechnical Engineering who will work with the Vice President, Engineering, to create and grow our geotechnical engineering practice.
Responsibilities
Build, support, and mentor a passionate and committed team of professionals.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, regulators, suppliers, and peers.
Enhance Trace’s reputation, especially in the geotechnical industry.
Collaborate with environmental science and management consulting peers to cross sell and support business development initiatives.
About You and Your Qualifications
A minimum of 15 years of experience in consulting geotechnical engineering.
Status as a Professional Engineer.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software packages.
Expert understanding of embankment design, slope stability, and geotechnical engineering. Dam safety assessment is a benefit.
A strong conceptual and detailed design background.
Exceptional report writing and verbal communication skills.
