CODE OF ETHICS

Members of the Environmental Services Association of Alberta (ESAA) shall recognize that the Association’s Code of Ethics is founded upon integrity, competence, devotion to service and protection of the environment. This code shall guide our members at all times. Members of the Association shall:
  1. Perform their service with proper regard for safety, health and welfare of workers and the public; and for the protection of the environment;
  2. Perform their services in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies of local, provincial and federal jurisdictions;
  3. Endeavor to extend public understanding of the environmental services industry, and its place in society;
  4. Undertake only such work as they are competent to perform by virtue of their experience and training;
  5. Endeavor at all times to improve the competence, dignity and prestige of the Association;
  6. Conduct themselves with fairness and good faith;
  7. Advertise their services in a manner complimentary to the dignity of the Association.
