Intermediate Environmental Scientist

The Opportunity
-You will work with a team of professionals to shape and grow our business in British Columbia at both the office and field level across Trace.

-Lead and actively participate in field programs within the remediation practice area; however, experience within the reclamation and natural science practice areas are considered an asset.
-Management of assessment and remediation projects, subcontractors, project budgets.
-Report and present results to clients and regulators.
-Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical support to junior professionals.
-Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, landowners/stakeholders, and regulators.
-Be a part of a team that develops new business.

-Graduated from a college or university with a diploma or degree in sciences with an environmental focus. Professional designation (P.Ag., P.Biol. or equivalent).
-Experienced in safely leading environmental drilling programs, small- and large-scale remediation, and emergency spill response projects.
-Knowledge of contaminated sites legislation, environmental regulations, policies, and permit application processes.
-Can safely operate vehicles and has a valid class 5 driver’s licence.

-This position is eligible for overtime, therefore, we are looking for flexible people, as there are times where extended hours and travel away from home are required.
