The Role
We are recruiting for an Intermediate Environmental Scientist, who will focus on planning and execution of client field programs to meet asset retirement obligations in Alberta.

Responsibilities
– Planning and overseeing Phase II ESAs including; drilling, soil sampling and groundwater monitoring
– Assist with development and execution of remedial projects
– Coordinate and complete reclamation activities, vegetation management and Detailed Site Assessments
– Interpreting analytical laboratory results, budget tracking and reporting
– Contractor management including supervision of heavy equipment
Qualifications
– Undergraduate degree or diploma in science, land reclamation or related discipline
– 3 plus year’s field experience with environmental site assessments, soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, site remediation and reclamation
– Registration with a professional organization is an asset
– Knowledge of environmental regulations and guidelines
– Possess strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and technical writing skills
– Driven by obsession of excellence and deep sense of accountability
